Creating a seamless shopping experience

India is one of the biggest untapped markets for e-commerce business, with almost all of its e-commerce activities being limited to Urban parts of India.

Mark Zuckerberg, Founder, and CEO, of Meta, expressed his excitement about the launch of the partnership with JioMart in India.

He also expressed his belief that business messaging is an area with momentum and that chat-based e-commerce would change business communication for years to come in a Facebook post.

Mukesh Ambani Chairman & Managing Director of, Reliance Industries, conveyed his vision to propel India into the world’s leading digital society.

He also said that he was proud of developing the first-ever end-to-end shopping experience JioMart on WhatsApp in collaboration with meta, and Mark Zuckerberg and himself shared a vision of bringing more people and businesses online.

The launch is part of a strategic collaboration between Meta & Jio Platforms with the goal of speeding up India’s digital transformation & provide people and businesses of all sizes opportunities to connect in new ways.

The partnership also hopes to fuel the economic growth of India, to allow the largely rural population of India to finally take part in the Digital revolution and Digital transformation of India.

Millions of Small businesses would finally have the opportunity to overcome the geographical boundaries and they would be able to grow beyond a small part of town.
